The first time I saw Roger Waters perform live was on a beautiful balmy summer night in the outskirts of the city, 23 years ago - so much has changed in my life and in the world since! Sitting on a hilly lawn under the stars, the sound of the music was coming from heavens....Although a fan of his music for some time, that live performance made a lasting impression. Have seen him five more times in concert since, the last time a week ago when he re-created his masterpiece,The Wall - a spectacular theatrical magic (photos below).
Music is my passion, but his music has been a source of inspiration and healing over the years, during good times and hard times. I would like to devote this page to an exceptional musician, with some of his interviews and a few pieces of magical music.
His interview with David Frost and the one talking about his opera (CA IRA), are particularly interesting.
